Christin & Pat at Knology Park - Rays v. Jays
Dunedin, FL
For those of you who are new to our website, WELCOME!

A little about ourselves:

Christin graduated cum laude in '05 with a BS in Nursing.  Christin is Tampa Bay's #1 fan.  She was a Yankees fan until her favorite player, Tino Martinez, went to the Rays.  We met Tino in Toronto in '04, and several other guys on the Rays.  Since that meeting, we haven't turned back.  Tino since left the team and Christin stayed with her Rays.

Christin worked at Nashua Sports Collectibles for several years while in college.  There she would work with professional athletes when they would come in for autograph signings.  That got her hooked into autograph and memorabilia collecting.  She loves getting autographs, talking with the players, and having her picture taken with the players she meets. Her knowledge of baseball is unbelievable, loves to talk baseball to anyone who will listen. You can find her scoring the action at every game we attend.

We are true Tampa Bay Rays fans.  That's our team.  We've met all the players, coaches and manager, and Christin has had her picture taken with everyone on the '05, '06 and '07 teams.  We moved to Florida in February, just in time for Spring Training.  We also have season tickets for the Rays home games in St. Petersburg.

In 2007 we were inducted into the Pepsi/Devil Rays Wall of Fan Fame at Rays FanFest on 2/24/07.  You can read all about it, and our Spring Training adventures, by clicking on the baseball. Two of our local newspapers did stories on us in 2007, and we were interviewed by National Public Radio for a piece on Baseball.

We are both such big Rays fans, in 2005 we attended 29 RAYS games in 5 different cities.  In 2006 we attended 33 RAYS games in 5 cities,  in 2007 we were at 40 RAYS games in 5 cities and in 2008, including spring training games,  a road trip to Seattle and Oakland, the post season and the WORLD SERIES, we attened about 125 RAYS games.

Pat retired as Director of Administration for a professional ballet company.  She recently worked as a fitness trainer at Curves.  A former Yankees fan, she is also a huge Rays fan.  Photography is her hobby, and you can find her snapping pictures at every game.

Both of us love to travel, especially if it includes baseball.  Summer 2005 we took in 40 baseball games in 13 MLB ballparks.  The 2006 season we had tickets for 70 MLB games in 15 MLB ballparks.  In 2007 we attended 50 games in 7 ballparks.  Our goal it to get to every stadium for at least one game.  We only have 2 ballparks left! Of course, we have to get back to the new ballparks in St. Louis, Washington, DC, and the two in New York.

February 2008 we quit our jobs, sold our house and moved to Florida. We needed to be closer to our Team!  It was a great year to be with the Rays, we had a fantastic season and made it all the way to the WORLD SERIES!  T

In cleaning out files one day, I came across this story on our family, and how we almost had Ernie's wish to attend the All Star Game in Boston in 1999.  It's a great story, and wanted to share it with you.
